Description
I was on my way to photograph ladyslipper orchids at sunrise when I noticed the fog over this river nearby. I pulled over and decided to change my plan and spend some time here, at risk of missing the sun beams streaming through the orchid forest. It took a few passes before I noticed this little bird making trips back and forth across the river. It was carrying stuff in one direction, presumably making a nest, if you look closely you can see it carrying a piece of long grass. I have another shot with sunlight streaming across the scene, but the bird isn’t carring anything so I chose this one and may share the other one later.
